Race to the Finish Line with Roush

Since 1995, automotive mogul, Jack Roush, has been manufacturing and developing high performance components for street and race cars. The man is a bit of a legend: he graduated with a Master’s Degree in Scientific Mathematics from Eastern Michigan University, then started working for Ford Motors soon after graduation, and in 1984, began building engines for the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) and International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) road racing series. Finding instant success, he earned the manufacturer’s title for Lincoln-Mercury. Following this success, Jack Roush has since become the CEO, and co-owner of Roush Fenway Racing, a NASCAR team, which has earned numerous national championships, 12 of which are manufacturer championships. And if that isn’t enough, he operates the famous ROUSH Performance auto company which manufactures aftermarket performance parts for Ford cars, trucks, and special model vehicles.

The Roush Line-Up

As Jack Roush likes to say, “Between a road car and a race car is a Roush car.” And one of the most iconic ROUSH cars is the 2018 Stage 1 Mustang.

The ROUSH Stage 1 Mustang is a lightweight, high-performance vehicle that uses the Ford 2.3L Ecoboost engine and has all the styling of ROUSH that drivers crave. Ford recently upgraded the performance of the engine for this model, while ROUSH made changes to the body and chassis of the vehicle accordingly. With an incredible 310 hp and resulting 350 lb-ft of torque, the power on this lightweight Mustang is impressive. Combine that with ROUSH’s race-car inspired exterior styling and body enhancements, and this is a car that’s going to get you noticed on the streets.

Available options include upgrades to the suspension and wheels which allow the driver to finely tune their Mustang to improve its skid pad performance rating. The ROUSH Stage 1 Mustang comes standard with an optimal performance exhaust system. The exterior is classic Mustang, with minimal styling, but with the aerodynamic build that is instantly recognizable. Starting at $5,470, this car and it’s high-quality ROUSH performance, is a steal.

However, if trucks are more your style, ROUSH offers a Super Duty 4-F20, a behemoth in the work truck market. The engineers at ROUSH state, “For the first time in ROUSH history, we have entered the Super Duty market, to build a truck that looks incredibly intimidating and isn’t afraid to get dirty.” And if anything is true, that truck is intimidating. The truck is huge, to guarantee that Super Duty moniker, and an impressive suspension upgrade is available, which brings more assertive off-road abilities to the table, including better ground clearance and height. This ROUSH also features what many drivers consider some of the best off-road tires available, which are all-terrain and feature bead protection in their 35.3 inch size.

And if that’s not enough, the ROUSH Super-Duty 4F20 also features everything you need to achieve even the toughest hauling jobs with optimal performance. In order to maintaining Ford’s reputation for impressive tow and haul capabilities, ROUSH modifications work to enhance the overall performance of the vehicle and come backed with a 36,000-mile warranty. The ROUSH Super Duty 4F20 starts at $13,400.

The interior of the ROUSH Super Duty F-250 is engineered to create the ultimate command center for any driver. The unique interior features the ROUSH custom-embroidered headrest, console badge, and tough floor mats by WeatherTech to enhance the overall design. Also available is the option for the ROUSH Console Vault and Off-Road Utility Kit, which enhances the vehicle’s performance in all types of weather conditions and terrain.
