Let’s look at which used Rams are the absolute best, not only for your protection but also for your wallet’s peace of mind. Years and models like the 2020-2021 Ram 1500, 2020-2021 Ram 3500, 2021 Ram ProMaster, and 2021 Ram 2500 are all reliable vehicles for solo travelers and hard workers. Let’s be honest; there is usually a reason you buy a truck and not a mini-sedan. So, no matter where you are located, keep reading so you will know exactly what to look for the next time you visit a used Ram dealership.

It is not a surprise that Ram is known for being used by commercial services and truck fans alike. These dependable, rugged vehicles are built to get the job done. Whether that job is rolling over rough terrain while you are relaxing in the comfortable interior during your journey, or you have a tough job that needs a durable truck to carry the weight for you, Ram will be able to do both and more. The best part is you do not have to rely on buying a new truck to get this kind of reliability. In fact, there are many used Ram trucks waiting for you to stop by and go on some test drives. Hopefully, after this, you will better understand which one will best suit you, but half the fun is being able to test drive, right? So, let’s take a look at many options that are suitable for your needs!

Used Rams

There are many year and model options for a used Ram to make it worth your time and money. However, the models we will be discussing today are as follows: the 2021 Ram 1500, 2021 Ram 2500, 2021 Ram 3500, and the 2021 Ram ProMaster. All of these trucks have different and similar uses, with unique features and styles that are sure to grab your attention. In fact, it might even be helpful to look at a ProMaster to talk about business on the road. That said, let’s dive into these models and get a closer look at why these are fantastic rides.

A classic truck from 2021 is the Ram 1500. It is built for agility. This durable ride can tow up to 12,750 lbs and has a 76.8-inch bed length. There is plenty of carrying capacity with those two options, not to mention the interior if you are traveling as a couple or as an individual. With a 5.7L 8-cylinder engine, this truck gets 17 MPG in the city and 22 MPG on the highway in four-wheel drive. Plus, you can choose from different colors and lengths of beds for the exterior design (Personally, I am a fan of the all-black version). You will also be riding high on 20-inch wheels, and do not be worried about feeling squished inside; there is so much leg room. There is a panoramic sunroof to let your hair fly in the wind as you cruise around. It is a versatile ride with a lot to show off.

Another 2021 year Ram we are going to take a look at is the 2500 model. This is one of my favorite trucks in terms of robust design. If you take a look at that rugged bad boy, then you will see what I am talking about. Not to mention, this truck was built for off-roading, you know, like how you see off-road exploring in those crazy car commercials? This is a truck for business and pleasure, considering it has a significantly increased towing capability (compared to the 1500) at a max of 20,000 lbs. Plus, you will have no issue getting where you need to go with up to 410 hp. Some trims do offer a bit more bed space with 98.4 in, plus four-wheel drive. You would be unstoppable in a 2021 Ram 2500.

The 2021 Ram 3500 is a vehicle of power. While the 3500 is similar to the 2500, the real difference is that of towing capacity. The 2500 model can tow 20,000 lbs, while the 3500 model can tow 37,100 lbs when properly equipped. Now, a reason to compare 3500 to 2500 is because of this towing capability and other changes that make a big difference without altering the used price too much. With a 6.4L V8 or a 6.7L turbo-diesel, you can enjoy 429 lb-ft or 1,075 lb-ft of torque. These models are an excellent long-term investment.

Now, we have a genuinely commercial van, the 2021 Ram ProMaster, meant for your long working days. The cameras and mirrors are on top of this lineup to keep workers and yourself safe and guarded while maneuvering this machine, plus additional driver-assistant features like crosswind assistance, blind-spot monitoring, and more. Not to mention, there is (obviously) plenty of cargo hold space up to 463 cu.ft. with a High Roof build to keep your materials and equipment with you at all times. Plus, tow 6,910 additional pounds for extra efficiency. There is no slacking with this Ram.

Which Ram Is the Ultimate Ram?

Now, there is simply no way to tell which Ram is the ultimate Ram unless you have very specific needs. For example, if you are more about pleasure and practicality, you are probably not in the market for a ProMaster. The same is true if you are looking for a commercial vehicle; you will not be looking at the classic 1500. While there are many reasons for considering all of these cars, the best way to find the right one is to decide what you will need or want it for (and remember your test drives). Take your time checking out the details and facts yourself at a used Ram dealership near you.

Safety and Technology

Two of the top things to consider when buying a used vehicle are its safety rating and technology. All these trucks have excellent safety features; they sport similar technology to help you while driving, like blind-spot monitoring, lane-keep assist, and emergency braking. They also have forward collision alert and trailer sway control. You can find most of these vehicles with 4WD for the ultimate in traction control. Plus, they are smartphone-compatible so that you can stay connected during your drive. Out of this lineup, the 2021 Ram 1500 was a Top Safety Pick from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, so there is that to consider.

The Right Ram for You

While you are shopping for used vehicles, I definitely recommend checking out your used Ram lineups. Ram is a durable brand and has produced some of the best working trucks and vans on the road today. So, get ready, set, and test drive!
