Find a New Vehicle at a Nissan Dealer

One of the most popular auto brands in the United States is Nissan. Since this automaker produces a mix of affordable, reliable vehicles, it’s no wonder why so many people love it. However, Nissan also builds powerful trucks, eco-friendly electric vehicles, and high-performance sports cars. If you are thinking about visiting your local Nissan dealer, we’ve created this helpful guide to its new models for you to refer back to during your car-buying journey.

Nissan Cars

Nissan cars are by far some of the most popular vehicles among college students. Not only are they very affordable, but they are also reliable, comfortable, and look good to boot. The latest lineup of Nissan cars includes the Versa, Sentra, Altima, and Maxima. Let’s take a quick glance at each one.

Starting at $14,930, the Nissan Versa sedan is my personal favorite new car for college students. If you are planning on gifting a car to your recent high school grad, this is the one to get. Available in three trims, it comes standard with full power accessories, Bluetooth connectivity, and a 7-inch touchscreen interface. It even has advanced safety features like a rearview camera, automatic headlights, frontal collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and lane-departure warning. Plus, it gets an average of 35 MPG combined (32 city/40 highway), which makes driving it easy on the wallet for a college student.

As for the other models, the Sentra starts at $19,410 and comes in three trim levels as well. The standards are basically the same as the Versa, and it gets about 33 MPG combined (29 city/39 highway). Starting at $24,300, the Nissan Altima is a bit more spacious and comes with a larger engine and better features. It’s a bit more suitable for a college graduate, but its available all-wheel drive makes it a choice worth considering for colder climates. Finally, the Maxima is a full-size sedan that starts at $36,990. It’s a great model for getting to work in the mornings and transporting a new family in the afternoon. Available in five trims, you will find luxurious features on the base model like a leather-wrapped steering wheel and satellite radio.

Nissan Crossovers and SUVs

If you have an active lifestyle, you may want to consider a new compact crossover. On the other hand, if you are looking for a family-friendly vehicle to grow into, a midsize or full-size SUV might be better. Let’s take a look at the new models!

The new compact Nissan crossovers are the Kicks (starting at $19,070), the Rogue Sport (starting at $23,430), and the Rogue (starting at $25,650). Each of these crossovers can seat five people, but they have different amounts of cargo space. The Kicks offers 25.3 cubic feet of cargo room, the Rogue Sport provides 22.9 cubic feet, and the Rogue has 36.5 cubic feet. As for fuel economies, the Kicks gets about 33 MPG combined (31 city/36 highway), the Rogue Sport gets 28 MPG combined (25 city/32 highway), and the Rogue gets 30 MPG combined (27 city/35 highway).

As for the family-oriented Murano, Pathfinder, and Armada, these models are a bit different. Starting at $31,730, the Murano seats five with a maximum cargo area of 67 cubic feet. Available in four trims, it gets 23 MPG combined (20 city/28 highway). Next, the Pathfinder starts at $31,980. This is the ideal SUV if you enjoy getting away from the city on the weekends. With seating for seven and a maximum cargo area of 79.5 cubic feet, the Pathfinder gets 23 MPG combined (20 city/27 highway). It can even tow up to 6,000 lbs, which is perfect for taking a camper or trailer of ATVs out into nature. Lastly, the Armada starts at $47,500. With seating for eight and a maximum cargo area of 95.4 cubic feet, this is the largest SUV in the Nissan fleet. It gets 16 MPG combined (14 city/19 highway), but it can haul up to 8,500 lbs. This is best if you have a larger trailer to pull but need more room than a pickup can offer.

Nissan Trucks

If you do prefer to pick up a truck from your local Nissan dealer, then you have a choice of three different models. The Frontier starts at $26,790, the Titan starts at $36,550, and the Titan XD starts at $45,030. Seating ranges from four to six people across the board with King Cab and Crew Cab body styles for each model.

The new Frontier can haul up to 6,720 lbs, and it gets about 20 MPG combined (18 city/24 highway). If you want an enhanced off-roading model, we suggest the PRO-4X trim. It comes with roof rails, Bilstein shock absorbers, all-terrain tires, skid plates, and an electronic locking rear differential. Next, the Titan can manage to tow up to 9,310 lbs, and it gets 18 MPG combined (16 city/21 highway). Available in five trims, you can opt for the PRO-4X off-roading model or the more luxurious Platinum Reserve. This top-tier trim comes with heated/ventilated seats covered in leather and wood accents on the dash. Finally, the Titan XD can tow up to 11,040 lbs.

Nissan Electric Vehicles

If you head over to your local Nissan dealer, you will probably find a few EVs. Electric vehicles are all the rage these days, especially in big cities. At present, Nissan has released two models. The popular hatchback known as the LEAF starts at $31,600, and the upcoming Ariya SUV is expected to start arriving at Nissan dealerships in 2021.

The LEAF is perfect for anyone who wants to reduce their carbon footprint. It runs on electricity alone, and it has a pretty good range of up to 226 miles with its 62 kWh battery pack. Available in four trims, the standard infotainment system is displayed on an 8-inch touchscreen and is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Safety Shield 360 package is also included on all trims. This adds blindspot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, forward/rear collision warning, and automatic emergency braking.

Nissan Sports Cars

If you’ve got speed and excitement on the brain, a new Nissan sports car might be a good option. You have your choice of the GT-R starting at $113,540 or the more affordable 370Z starting at $30,090. Both of these vehicles look fantastic, but there is a clear difference between them. The two-row GT-R is a dream ride for many people with its twin-turbo V6 engine growling under the hood. With a sophisticated all-wheel drive system and a lightning-quick dual-clutch transmission, the GT-R is a technological monster. On the other hand, the two-seat 370Z offers a more pure sports car experience with rear-wheel drive, a naturally-aspirated V6 engine, and the option for a six-speed manual transmission. No matter which vision of performance suits your taste, you are guaranteed to have fun in a Nissan sports car.
